JBC Projects acted as Project Lead.

When JBC Projects was formed, James Bradshaw transitioned from his role as Real Estate Development Director for Legends Global’s European venue management arm, where he had been leading the AO Arena redevelopment. JBC Projects continued in the role of Owner’s Representative, driving the project through completion and mobilisation for opening.

Acting as the central interface, JBC Projects led the full professional team and coordinated between construction delivery, venue operations and the Legends Global board. This ensured aligned decision‑making, clear commercial oversight and a controlled route through the final stages of delivery, securing a smooth handover and a fully operational, upgraded arena.

Keeping one of the largest and busiest arenas in the world open and operational throughout redevelopment.

With a full event schedule running throughout construction, JBC Projects structured the programme to maintain uninterrupted operations. Aside from tightly managed MEP and fire‑alarm switchover windows, the two‑year build progressed without impacting shows or the fan experience, protecting revenue, continuity and venue reputation.
