Turning a back-of-house storage space into a premium lounge as part of Live Nation's international rollout of the Vinyl Room premium lounge.

Inspired by the Kissa listening bars of 1970’s Japan, the space creates an intimate environment where music, design, and atmosphere come together to elevate the pre and post show experience.

JBC Projects supported the Live Nation EMEA Venue Development team and the local venue teams with project management advice and support from tender to completion.

What began as a back‑of‑house storage area beside the dressing‑room corridor was transformed into a fully functioning new space, complete with all‑new MEP services housed on an internal mezzanine platform.

The concept, originally created by Live Nation’s US Blueprint team, was adapted for Europe by the Live Nation EMEA venue development team and interior designers Blacksheep, ensuring local standards were met while retaining the core brand identity.

On‑site delivery was led by the venue team, with JBC Projects coordinating between the venue, the EMEA development team, and the US Blueprint design guardianship. Working across multiple locations, the project maintained strong direction and momentum.

In parallel, JBC Projects supported a second European venue, ensuring design consistency, quality, and full integration of commercial and operational priorities across both sites. (Photo Credit: Stevie Campbell)

Turning a back-of-house storage space into a premium lounge.

The Vinyl Room at Royal Arena Copenahgen came together through close coordination between Live Nation’s EMEA venue development team, the Live Nation US Blueprint design team, the local venue operations team and the brand partnership at high-end audio systems Danish company Bang & Olufsen.

Our role was to create seamless coordination from the earliest concept conversations right through to the moment the doors opened.
